Great title and top tunes within. Local superstar DJ - the one they call Skinny, has lovingly compiled this bunch of NZ Rock'n Roll tracks all recorded between '98 and '02 and it's pretty fucking good. The (true) garage rock vibe of the album follows thru to the cut'n paste layout of the packaging with Matt Alien delivering one of his trademark doozies for the cover and the under the CD action being a montage of some of the better posters that you'll have no doubt seen on lamp posts and street corners throughout the City. Most of Skinny's favourite bands make an appearance with the notable exception being those two local 4-piece Rock'n Roll Motherfuckers that have gone and made a kinda name for themselves in the UK of late... So here we have Shaft, The Bloody Souls, Xanadu, The Rock and Roll Machine, The Dellburgoes superb rockabilly number 'Last Twist', Five Car Pile Up's corker 'Bad Little Man', WWIV's absolute killer track 'Neanderthal', Slavetrader, Palace Of Wisdom, The Ho'Dogs, Ogden Steers, Rainy Days and the top notch album closer 'Rythm and Blues Motherfucker'.
