A Rock n Roll Shakedown

Slavetrader, The Dellburgoes, The Blunts
@ The Kings Arms Tavern, Auckland

March 29, 2003

The Dellburgoes all the way from Greymouth played at Kings Arms last night with The Blunts and Slavetrader, and they seriously kicked arse!

Are The Dellburgoes the new Shaft? (who, incidently, were on fine form last Saturday with Voom) - maybe so. They got the crowd bopping along to the hit "Last Twist" at the beginning of their set and again at the end.. and people happily bounced in between to their brand of 60s garage rock n roll.

The Blunts played a powerful opening set for the night - giving Hasselhoff a run for their money as a guitar / drum duo.
The evening closed with dirty rock from Slavetrader - including their cover of Allways Outnumbered, Never Outgunned. Nice one.
